摘 要
車輛牌照自動識別系統(tǒng)是近幾年發(fā)展起來的基于圖像和字符識別術(shù)的智能化交通管理系統(tǒng),是目前國內(nèi)外模式識別應用研究領域的一個熱點。本文對系統(tǒng)中圖像預處理、字符分割和字符識別等環(huán)節(jié)涉及的新算法、新設計做了一個比較詳細的論述。
本文在圖像預處理中重點討論了灰度圖像二值化的多種算法和基于數(shù)學形態(tài)學的圖像去除噪聲的方法?;跀?shù)學形態(tài)學的圖像去除噪聲是通過對圖像的開、閉操作有選擇的去噪。可以去除直徑小于字符筆劃半徑的孤立噪聲點。
本文還詳細地介紹了基于字符形態(tài)劃分的字符識別方法?;谧址螒B(tài)劃分的字符識別方法是在對數(shù)字字符結(jié)構(gòu)進行充分分析的基礎上,對基元檢測,歸納字符形態(tài)特征,得到的快速字符識別方法。

Abstract
The vehicles license plate automatic diagnosis system is develops inrecent years based on the image and the character recognition technology intellectualization traffic control system, is a present domestic and foreign patterns recognition applied research domain hotspot. This article to the system in the image pretreatment, the characteristic with drew the new algorithm, the technique design which with link and so on character recognition involved has made a quite detailed elaboration.
This article also with emphasis discussed based on has connected the value the image to go to chirp the method and based on the character shape and the structure direction characteristic quantity extraction process. Goes based on the connected domain image chirp is through carries on to the image corrosion and the inflation has the choice to go chirp. May remove the diameter to be smaller than the character pen to delimit the radius the isolated noise spot.
This article also detailed introduction based on character shape character recognition method. Is in carries on the sufficient analysis construction based on the character shape character recognition method to the alphanumeric character structure in the foundation, the induction character shape characteristic, obtains fast character recognition method.
