摘 要
步入90年代，關(guān)系數(shù)據(jù)庫管理系統(tǒng)產(chǎn)品日趨成熟。為適應(yīng)時(shí)代發(fā)展的需要，許多新型數(shù)據(jù)庫模型應(yīng)運(yùn)而生，時(shí)態(tài)數(shù)據(jù)庫便是其中一份子。時(shí)態(tài)數(shù)據(jù)庫是人類創(chuàng)造力在時(shí)間維上的延伸，旨在高效地存儲(chǔ)和利用時(shí)態(tài)數(shù)據(jù)，它在自然現(xiàn)象觀測、自然災(zāi)害對(duì)策、古地質(zhì)研究、考古和金融股票方面的應(yīng)用在國外已經(jīng)開始試用，并不斷有原型和報(bào)告發(fā)表。本文所涉及到的Hbase便是一個(gè)32兆內(nèi)存模擬時(shí)態(tài)主存數(shù)據(jù)庫的原型。Hbase從第一次用Pascal語言在DOS平臺(tái)上開發(fā)到現(xiàn)在用Visual C++ 5.0在Windows 95平臺(tái)上開發(fā)，經(jīng)歷了三次升級(jí)。而且還以Hbase for Windows 2.5版為核心，與四川省科技情報(bào)所合作，成功地開發(fā)了一個(gè)Internet機(jī)器翻譯系統(tǒng)，即信譯系統(tǒng)。
數(shù)據(jù)操縱語言是一個(gè)數(shù)據(jù)庫管理系統(tǒng)的重要組成部分，用戶通過這些語言對(duì)數(shù)據(jù)庫進(jìn)行修改。數(shù)據(jù)操縱語言使用方便、快捷與否，直接影響該數(shù)據(jù)庫管理系統(tǒng)的市場前景。在Hbase的移植過程中，本文主要做了以下工作：

Abstract
Relational Data Base Manage System has been more ripened since 1990. For the time’s development , many new data base models were introduced , such as Temporal Data Base Manage System ( Temporal DBMS ) . Temporal DBMS is the extension of human creativity in time dimension , with the ability of storing and using temporal data efficiently . Its application on the observation of natural phenomenon , the tactic of handling the natural disaster , the research of the antiquity geology , archaeology , finance and stock , had being in use on aboard , further more many prototypes and reports had been published successively . Hbase , which is introduced in this paper , is just a prototype of Temporal DBMS over 32M memory platform . Its first version was completed by Pascal in DOS , but its latest version is to be achieved by Visual C++ 5.0 in Windows 95 . In the cooperation of SiChuan Union University and SiChuan
