Abstract
This article analyzes English teaching approaches on listening and speaking in Chinese high schools, listed some existent problems in traditional English teaching approaches. Such as the results of teacher-centered teaching approaches, and vocabulary and grammar training’s teaching approaches, etc. These traditional teaching approaches fail to train students’ listening and speaking ability to some extent. This article analyzes English teaching approaches on listening and speaking in Chinese high schools, listed some existent problems in traditional English teaching approaches.
