ABSTRACT

Automobile Knocked Down (KD) is the result of protective tariff. Because of international trade protection, full automobile export is restricted, and its Knocked Down export comes out. KD has five kinds of models: CBU, DKD, SKD, CKD, IKD. Each country collects different import duty to different automobile KD model.
The paper, with China's motorcycle and automobile industry's national conditions, analyses different motorcycle import duty of China, Vietnam, India and Iran, and introduces some policies constituted for dealing with large-scale automobile import KD. It studies the tariff rate at different motorcycle KD. Application of economic and financial costs, such as knowledge management, exports overall cost model of motorcycle is set up, and simply analyses cost of manufacture, packaging, transport and storage at different KD model. In this process the author of the chart analysis, Comparative Analysis, and so on, brings forth an idea to reduce the export cost: according to cost model, in each KD will form a unit that the total cost of export C, when the value of C is the least, then is the optimal value. Using its corresponding KD, may take the export enterprises to export the products at the lowest cost.
