摘要
本文通過(guò)對(duì)以學(xué)生為中心的方法的描述來(lái)幫助本科生理解計(jì)算機(jī)視覺(jué)近幾年的研究情況。該方法主要有兩個(gè)特點(diǎn)：第一，在回顧了自己近期獲得的一手資料后，學(xué)生自主選擇一套背景主題來(lái)研究。第二，每個(gè)學(xué)生都研究一個(gè)背景主題，并與他人合作準(zhǔn)備一份書(shū)面使用教程。該方法在以三個(gè)榮譽(yù)生為對(duì)象的小型探索性研究中取得了成功，可以以更大的小組為對(duì)象來(lái)進(jìn)行深入研究。
Abstract
This paper describes a student centered approach to preparing undergraduates to understand recent research in computer vision. The approach has two primary features. First, the students choose the set of background topics to study after reviewing recent primary source materials themselves. Second, each student explores one background topic and prepares a written tutorial for use by the others. The technique was successful in a small pilot study of three honours students and warrants further investigation with larger groups.
