中學英語教師素質提高的途徑探索
摘 要
教育研究表明，學生中學階段是人生的重要發(fā)展階段。因此，中學教師擔任著比其他階段教師更重要的教育責任。我國從二十世紀七十年代末開始，隨著外語尤其是英語在全國各級各類學校的逐步普及，我國英語教師從數量上的需求也就越來越多。為了開齊課程，一些不合格的英語教師也進入了教師隊伍；在進入二十一世紀后，合格英語教師的數量雖有大量的增加，但全球經濟化浪潮對教師隊伍尤其是英語教師隊伍的穩(wěn)定產生了影響，部分英語教師棄教從仕，棄教從商。這不僅導致了教師數量的減少，而且教師的整體素質也在下降。在倡導素質教育的今天，教師素質的提高是關鍵的一環(huán)。本文就教師素質所包含的內容和目前英語教師素質存在的問題做分析，并結合國外的一些先進經驗，提出一些具體的解決方法。

Abstract
The education research shows that the students in middle schools are their important developmental stage, so middle school teachers have much more important educational responsibilities than other teachers. In China, at the end of 1970s, China has been popularizing English teaching in different kinds of schools .Accordingly, it needs more and more English teachers. But some of the incompetent teachers joined the staff in order to meet the needs of English teaching. After entering the 21st century, the globalization of economy seriously has affected the stability of the teaching staff. Some abandoned teaching to pick up business or chose official career. This leads to the decrease of the number of teachers as well as their qualities. Now it is the time we called for quality-education, teachers’ quality is a crucial link.
