2.5.1 一般切削液的介紹
熱量在機(jī)床對工件施加摩擦力時(shí)產(chǎn)生。熱可以通過加熱的工具影響工件零件的整體質(zhì)量。當(dāng)這一切發(fā)生時(shí),兩個金屬變成“粘性”,會損害切削過程。材料不是想工具設(shè)計(jì)的那樣被剪掉,而是黏在刀刃上。這使得工件表面質(zhì)量差,也增加了刀具的磨損。切削液可以冷卻或潤滑切削過程。切削液可以分為兩個基本類型,潤滑劑和冷卻劑。潤滑液作為液體有助于減少工件和刀具之間的摩擦。潤滑油的粘度越高,它的切割潤滑性越好。冷卻劑可以描述為一種防止過熱加工的液體。切削液不僅是為了降低刀具和工件之間的熱量和摩擦也提供防腐蝕保護(hù)。[27]

Heat is generated from friction when the machine tool applies a force to the workpiece. Heat can adversely affect the overall quality of the part by heating up both the tool and workpiece. When this happens the two metals can become "sticky" which hurts the cutting process. Instead of shearing off the material like the tool was designed to do, the workpiece material latches on to the tool edge. This results in poor surface quality on the workpiece and increased tool wear. Cutting fluids were adopted in order to cool or lubricate the cutting process. Cutting fluids can be broken up into two basic categories, lubricants and coolants. Lubricants are the fluids that help reduce the friction between the workpiece and the tool. The higher the viscosity of the lubricant, the better its lubricity is for cutting. Coolants can be described as the fluids that prevent the machining work from overheating. Cutting fluids are not only known for helping to reduce heat and friction between the tool and work but also provide corrosion protection [27].
