美國作為世界上第一大經(jīng)濟(jì)體，對世界經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展具有火車頭的作用。然而2007年美國經(jīng)濟(jì)的表現(xiàn)不盡人意，次貸危機的爆發(fā)更是雪上加霜。經(jīng)濟(jì)增長速度降低，通貨膨脹率升高，失業(yè)率增加，這一切顯示出美國經(jīng)濟(jì)已經(jīng)離滯脹越來越近了。美聯(lián)儲前主席格林斯潘稱“美國經(jīng)濟(jì)尚未陷入滯脹，但已經(jīng)有早期跡象出現(xiàn)”。
