Abstract
Theory of Constraints (TOC) is introduced by Dr. Eliyahu M. Goldratt in his book titled The Goal 1984 which is a fantastic novel about management. Most surprising thing is Dr. Eliyahu M. Goldratt is actually a physicist. At beginning no publisher took serious about a physicist’s book about management. But Dr. Eliyahu M. Goldratt believes his theory and concept of constraints will help solve the problems of management because of his persistence and his determination finally his book got published and drew a lot of attention that totally deserved it. Now his book is not only becoming bestseller it also influences a lot of people. TOC is becoming a revolutionary concept of management. In my opinion TOC is not only a very interesting theory it is also very practical. The most important thing is this theory leads us to the new direction compare to the traditional management concepts. It gave people the new chance to think about the essence of business and their goals. TOC lead us to focus on the dependent events it doesn’t matter these events are internal or external. If we could find the dependent events it will help us to find the constraints. These dependent events also will help us to react with the market and the demands quickly. Through searching for constraints we could use the resource more wisely. The essence of business is about getting more profit and make more money.
