摘 要: ArcGIS9.0是美國(guó)環(huán)境系統(tǒng)研究所開(kāi)發(fā)的新一代GIS軟件，是世界上應(yīng)用廣泛的GIS軟件之一，是我國(guó)GIS領(lǐng)域常用的商業(yè)軟件，其功能十分強(qiáng)大。通過(guò)收集資料、資料預(yù)處理、矢量數(shù)字化、建立三維模型、導(dǎo)入模型、建立三維可視化等一系列步驟，利用ArcGIS 9.0軟件,對(duì)湖南師范大學(xué)北校區(qū)虛擬校園進(jìn)行了初步實(shí)現(xiàn)。通過(guò)虛擬校園，可將現(xiàn)實(shí)校園的各項(xiàng)資源數(shù)字化形成一個(gè)數(shù)字空間,實(shí)現(xiàn)學(xué)校的教學(xué)、科研、管理、服務(wù)等活動(dòng)的全部過(guò)程,從而達(dá)到提高教學(xué)質(zhì)量、科研水平、管理水平的目的。
